About the midgemap project

Midgemap is an attempt to invoke the power of twitter to allow members of the public to help us collect midge activity data from around Scotland by allowing people to simply send a tweet reporting the midge activity they are experiencing.

@midgemap inverness 2

Simply use your phone to send a tweet to @midgemap reporting the midge levels you are experiencing. Your information will be logged on this site, along with everyone else, to give us a new perspective on midge activity in Scotland. Or wait until you get to a PC. If you aren't a twitterer yet, sign up here.

@midgemap ensures that the message gets to us
